Our Services

Individual Counseling:

You are provided a personal opportunity to receive support and experience growth and progress throughout life’s challenges. We will collaborate to set goals and learn to implement new solutions to reach those goals. I will focus on your strengths to provide positive support, encouragement, and empowerment. We can address current issues, while working towards taking steps in the right direction for your own personal growth, self-discovery, and confidence.

Through one-on-one counseling, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and work towards increasing self-awareness, identifying and re-framing negative thoughts, and develop strategies to decrease symptoms to work towards living the life you want. I provide counseling for the following common issues:

Life Transitions

Whether you’re struggling with the transition from high school to college, college to the “real world”, recently relocated, got a new job, or just experiencing major changes in your life, stress is inevitable. You may feel overwhelmed with all that goes into a smooth adjustment. It may be a time of insecurity, confusion, frustration, and self-doubt. Change can be exciting, but scary at the same time. Anxiety and depression may be the direct result of major life transitions. You’re searching for a sense of purpose, fulfillment, and how to navigate these difficult times to find joy.

You may feel consumed with panic, fear, stress, and worry that can be paralyzing. Your invasive thoughts or self-defeating beliefs may cycle, causing you to avoid people, places, or events. Anxiety can present through irritability, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, restlessness, sleep difficulties, fatigue, and issues focusing. Anxiety can play a big role in feeling stuck and feeling as if you’re unable to move forward.

It’s easy for our confidence and self-esteem to be affected by all that goes on around us, whether that be constantly comparing ourselves to others, rejections and disappointments, or just truly fighting an internal battle that seems impossible to win. Issues with self-esteem may result in isolation, increased involvement in negative behaviors, depression, irritability, low-motivation, and perfectionism.

Teen and Adolescent Issues

Teenage years can be challenging, confusing, and full of growth. This time may be filled with struggles to fit in, self-confidence, keeping up with peer expectations, conflict with parents, peer relationships, and constant comparisons to what’s seen on social media. In building a strong relationship and providing a non-biased, listening ear, it is my passion to aid teenagers in finding their voice, uncovering their strengths, increasing confidence, and developing healthy and important skills to support them as they grow into adults.
