Anxiety and depression may be the direct result of major life transitions. You’re searching for a sense of purpose, fulfillment, and how to navigate these difficult times to find joy.
You may feel consumed with panic, fear, stress, and worry that can be paralyzing. Your invasive thoughts or self-defeating beliefs may cycle, causing you to avoid people, places, or events. Anxiety can present through irritability, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, restlessness, sleep difficulties, fatigue, and issues focusing. Anxiety can play a big role in feeling stuck and feeling as if you’re unable to move forward.
It’s easy for our confidence and self-esteem to be affected by all that goes on around us, whether that be constantly comparing ourselves to others, rejections and disappointments, or just truly fighting an internal battle that seems impossible to win. Issues with self-esteem may result in isolation, increased involvement in negative behaviors, depression, irritability, low-motivation, and perfectionism.
